About the set

The Carbonite Edition display for Ashes of the Empire holds 12 packs rather than the 24 of a standard display. Every one of the 16 cards in a Carbonite pack carries an aesthetic treatment — foil, Hyperspace or Showcase — where a standard pack only has a chance of one, and the Prestige variants are printed in no other product.

Carbonite is the configuration Fantasy Flight prints in the smallest quantity, and the Prestige cards inside it exist in no other pack. A product whose chase cards cannot be opened anywhere else is the one that holds a floor once the set stops being printed.
