Cookies
Nothing optional loads until you say yes. Here's the complete list, including the ones we can't work without.

How consent works here
Strictly necessary cookies are set because the site cannot function without them — a shop with no memory of your basket isn’t a shop. Under the ePrivacy Regulations (S.I. 336/2011) these don’t require consent.
Everything else — analytics and marketing — stays switched off until you actively accept. Not pre-ticked, not “accept by continuing to browse”. If you decline, those scripts are never loaded at all, so there is nothing to opt out of afterwards.
The full list
| Cookie | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
kg_cartStrictly necessary | Remembers which basket is yours so it survives a refresh. A random token — it contains no personal data. | 90 days |
kg_sessionStrictly necessary | Keeps you signed in to your account. Only set if you log in. | 30 days |
kg_adminStrictly necessary | Keeps a member of our own staff signed in to the admin area. Only ever set after a staff login, and only sent to /admin pages — a shopper never receives it. | 12 hours |
kg_consentStrictly necessary | Records your cookie choice, so we don't ask again on every page. | 12 months |
_ga / _ga_*Analytics (optional) | Google Analytics: counts visitors and which pages get used. Only set if you accept analytics. | up to 2 years |
_fbpMarketing (optional) | Meta Pixel: measures whether an ad led to a sale. Only set if you accept marketing cookies. | 90 days |
Changing your mind
Use the cookie settings link in the footer to reopen your choices at any time. You can also clear cookies in your browser, which resets everything — including the record of your preference, so you’ll be asked again.
Declining optional cookies doesn’t limit anything you can buy or do here. It only means we see less about how the site is used.
