The details
This is a 900 ml glass decanter shaped like a globe, with the continents etched on the surface and a small glass sailing ship inside. It rests on a rotating-style curved wooden stand and comes with two matching rocks glasses with a world-map engraving and a small metal funnel for filling.
It works as a table piece for whisky, bourbon, rum or brandy, and as a gift. The supplier describes the glass as lead-free, but we have not tested it, so check the glass on arrival, and do not store spirits in it for long periods.
It is glass, so it is fragile. Buyers report the packaging is well padded and the engraving is neat. Hand wash only and do not put the decanter or glasses in the dishwasher. The photo shows the decanter, glasses and funnel as sold.
