The details
A bedroom that is too bright at night, or a nursery that catches the early sun, does not always need new curtains. This is a single panel of 100% polyester cloth with a blackout coating, 200 cm wide and 150 cm tall, which the supplier rates at 95–98% light blocking.
It comes with 20 pairs of self-adhesive Velcro strips so it can be fixed over a window frame or glass without drilling, and taken down again afterwards, which suits renters, spare rooms and travel. Clean and degrease the surface first so the adhesive holds.
Expect a thin, light cloth rather than a heavy lined curtain. It blocks light well but is not a thermal or soundproof curtain, and a room will not be perfectly dark if light leaks round the edges.

The supplier rates it at 95–98% light blocking, so not quite total darkness. Light can still leak round the edges, so fix it with an overlap beyond the window frame.
