About the set
EX Deoxys released on 14 February 2005, in the middle of the EX era that collectors now treat as vintage. Across its 108 cards the defining one is the Rayquaza Gold Star — the last card in the set, and one of the most valuable English Pokémon cards printed after the Base Set era. Graded copies trade in the tens of thousands, which is the number that sets the price of a sealed box.
