About the set
Brilliant Stars released on 25 February 2022 and changed how modern sets are built. It introduced the Trainer Gallery: a separate subset of alternative-framed cards pulled at a fixed rate, which every English expansion since has copied. It also gave the game Arceus VSTAR and, crucially, the Charizard V alternate art that became the single most chased card of the Sword & Shield era outside Evolving Skies.
