About the set
Lost Origin arrived on 9 September 2022 and reintroduced the Lost Zone, a discard mechanic the game had not used seriously since the Call of Legends era. Giratina VSTAR headlined it and went on to define the competitive format for well over a year. Its alternate-art Giratina V is one of the most recognisable cards of the Sword & Shield run.
