Pokémon Card 151 reprints the complete original Kanto Pokédex — every Pokémon from Bulbasaur to Mew, numbered in National Pokédex order — in modern Scarlet & Violet framing, across a 210-card list. It is the most directly nostalgic set the game has produced since the anniversary releases. The Japanese print also carries something the English one does not: the Master Ball mirror-holo pattern, including the Master Ball Mew that has become the single most requested card from the set.

151 is the rare modern set with demand from outside the hobby: people who stopped collecting in the nineties buy it, which is a much larger pool than the active player base. That external demand is what has kept sealed pricing firm through repeated printings, and the Japanese print is the one collectors prefer for grading — partly for centring, partly because the Master Ball cards only exist here.
