About the set
Romance Dawn released in Japan on 22 July 2022 as the first set of the One Piece Card Game, 121 cards covering the East Blue and Alabasta arcs. Bandai underestimated the demand badly: the initial print run cleared in days, the game went from launch to sold out nationally inside a week, and the reprints that followed carry different print markings to the first wave. It is the set every later One Piece release is measured against, and the only one where the game had no track record behind it.
