About the set
Awakening of the New Era released in Japan on 26 August 2023, 127 cards built around the Wano arc and the Gear 5 transformation. Its timing was close to perfect: the anime reached Gear 5 that same month, and the Manga Rare Luffy printed in this set became the single most recognisable card the game has produced. Demand for OP-05 outran every set before it.
